Becoming a member is very simple. To qualify there is just 1 basic requirement. You must hold a full and current Jersey, UK or EU Driving Licence - and thats it!

To be a member does not obligate you to participate in observer runs, or even if you do, to take an advanced test.

Meetings and social occasions are open to everyone, and JADA is particulary keen to encourage young drivers to consider enhancing their driving skills, and run the Jersey Young Driver of the Year Competition in conjunction with the Jersey Road Safety Panel.

JADA is a non-profit making organisation and there is no charge for observers, advice or guidance. A small annual membership subscription is required to cover the association's stationery, postage and other expenses. It is recommended however that you have a copy of the IAM Advanced Driver Handbook to study between observed runs and this can be purchsed though the Association at cover cost
